China's Domestically Developed Large Cargo Drone Successfully Completes Intercontinental Material Delivery Test
2025-12-19
Recently, the "Kunpeng-3000," a large cargo drone independently developed by China, successfully conducted its first simulated intercontinental material delivery test at an airport in the northwest of the country. With a wingspan of 45 meters, a maximum cargo capacity of 30 tons, and a range exceeding 8,000 kilometers, the drone utilizes an all-electric propulsion system and intelligent flight route planning technology, enabling it to achieve transoceanic long-distance transportation. During this test, the drone departed from Xi'an and, after 12 hours of continuous flight, accurately delivered simulated supplies to a predetermined site. This achievement marks another significant step forward for China in the field of large cargo drones.
